Eduardo Muñoz
Ordoqui was born and educated in Havana, Cuba, receiving his Bachelor
of Arts from Havana University in 1990. As a photographer he has been
named a fellow of the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, New
York, 1997-98, and of the Cintas Foundation, Inc., Institute of International
Education, United Nations, New York, 1998-99. His most recent solo exhibitions
include: Marea baja in 2003 at Galería Foto fija
in Mexico CIty; and Portable Worlds in 2004 at Gallery 106
in Austin, Texas. Muñoz currently lives and works in Austin,
and will receive his MFA in photography from the University of Texas
at Austin in May of 2005.
